Aero Race Top Tube Bag

The Restrap Aero Race Top Tube Bag is a classic example of less is more. We originally designed our top tube bags for bikepacking; and sized them accordingly. There are times though – especially with the growth of one-day gravel racing – that riders want the accessibility and convenience of a TT mounted bag, but don’t want the bulk or aerodynamic disadvantage of a larger bag.

In steps the Aero Race Top Tube Bag. Designed to have plenty of capacity for enough gels to see you between feed zones, but to tuck behind the stem and out of the wind. It might be diminutive, but that doesn’t mean the Aero Race Top Tube Bag isn’t feature packed.

A completely redesigned stiffener removes the need for any headtube retention. An internal foam base deadens rattles for a quieter ride and a stretch net pocket is designed to hold a self-contained tyre plug tool; keeping it instantly at hand should you hear a dreaded hiss while rolling along in the group.

Use the provided fast straps to secure if your frame does not come with top tube bolts, or remove the straps and attach to the bike directly if that’s an option. Either way, the Aero Race Top Tube Bag will remain stable, secure and both out of the way and immediately at hand, all at the same time.

Instructions for use -

Installation

For bikes without top tube bolts, use the provided fast straps to attach to the top tube
For bikes with 64mm spaced top tube bolts, remove the foam base and fast straps. Attach via the holes in the bottom of the bag. Replace the foam base.
